Zverev Overcomes Tabilo, Jarry Triumphs Over Paul
Alexander Zverev and Nicolas Jarry will face off in the final of the 2024 ATP Italian Open after hard-fought semi-final victories. Zverev, the 2018 champion in Rome, rallied from a set down to defeat Alejandro Tabilo 1-6 7-6 4 6-2 on Friday.
Zverev, who stands 6'7" and weighs 198 lbs, plays right-handed. He fired off 10 aces and won 77% of his first-serve points in his victory over Tabilo. In Sunday's final, Zverev will face Nicolas Jarry, who defeated Tommy Paul 6-3 6-7 3 6-3 in a thrilling three-hour battle.
